On November 21, the University of Vigo’s FCCEE Lecture Hall hosted a conference dedicated to exploring the experiences and opportunities that energy communities offer to promote rural development and advance the energy transition in Galicia. The event was organized by the Galicia Wind Observatory.
The conference attracted strong participation across a comprehensive and enriching program, uniting key stakeholders in the Galician energy community landscape. Like last year’s edition, the event—accessible both in person and online—proved to be an essential platform for exchanging experiences, sharing knowledge, and addressing challenges related to implementing this collaborative and sustainable model. The conference gathered experts, public institution representatives, and project leaders who shared experiences, tools, and visions to drive the energy transition forward.
All the videos from the event are now available on the UVigoTV platform. We invite you to explore the full content—an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the efforts and progress of Galician communities in advancing the energy transition.
