The Wind Observatory of Galicia (OEGA), in collaboration with the EC4RURAL project, continues its work on the economic and financial analysis of energy communities. The latest improvements are based on feedback from various users who have worked with these tools in recent months.
On the one hand, for making the tools more accessible, explanatory videos have been created to guide users through their operation and help them maximize their benefits. These audiovisual resources complement the previously published practical guides:
Evaluation of Observed Economic Results – Watch the video [here].
Economic Viability Plan updated – Watch the video [here]
The updated version of the economic viability plan tool, explained through the last video, features new functionalities that enhance its accuracy and adaptability. Download new version:
Customizable number of members – Users can now define up to 25 members and specify the actual energy consumption of each.
Automatic calculation of required space – The tool estimates the necessary installation area, streamlining project planning.
Despite these new features, the estimation of expected results for the energy community initiatives remains consistent with the original version of the tool.
With these updates, OEGA and the EC4RURAL project reaffirm their commitment to fostering the growth of energy communities in Galicia by providing tools and resources that support their long-term viability and efficiency.
