The Seminar moves forward from Friday to Friday. In our second session we will focus our efforts on understanding the business dynamics linked to the wind sector in Portugal and Galicia. José Miguel Oliveira, Project Director of the Empresa Empreendimentos Eólicos do Vale do Minho will participate. This entity has developed a great deal of power in the area of the Portuguese Alto Minho.
Another participant will be representing the Galician Wind Power Association, the association which includes wind power developers in Galicia. Confirmation from this person is still pending.
In this session we will try to discuss the existing difficulties and the support mechanisms that have favored, and continue to favor, wind development. We will also discuss the main challenges faced by entrepreneurs: technological, e.g. repowering; legal, e.g. the regulatory framework; and so forth. It will also be of interest to debate on the role of wind energy in local development from a business perspective. Finally, it will also be of great interest to us to take a look at the relationship between business development and professional training processes.
