In the month of April 2019, the RESOLUTION of 15 October 2018 of the General Directorate of Energy and Mines authorizes/approves the prior administrative process and construction of the Miñón wind farm, located in the municipality of Vimianzo and promoted/developed by Greenalia Power, SLU

Legislative background: This wind farm was subject to public information through the 9 July 2018 AGREEMENT of the Territorial Office of A Coruña, which submits the public information at the request of prior administrative authorization, particularly the declaration of public utility and the need for urgent occupation that implies; the administrative authorization of construction; the sector project of supra-municipal impact; and the study of environmental impact of the Miñón wind farm project in the municipality of Vimianzo (A Coruña).
The Directorate General for Environmental Quality and Climate Change published the environmental impact statement of the Miñón wind farm project in the municipality of Vimianzo (A Coruña) on 10 October 2018.

Total power of the wind farm: 22.98 MW.
Number of wind turbines and features: 6 GE-130 or similar wind turbines, with a height of up to 114 m and a rotor diameter of 130 m.
Owners of the affected land: Landowners on the list of owners, properties and rights appearing in public information are the private owners of 334 estates/lands.
Estimated net annual average production: 107.77 GWh / year. According to the annual average household consumption (REE), the wind farm could provide electricity for over 32,000 households.
Execution budget: The total is 21,153,176.43€. The investment by MW is 920,500 €.
